Wild Alps, session #2

Ibex, chamois, deers and even the rarest among the rarest bearded vulture (not in the pictures) and their huge and consistent environment, what else could a photographer ask for ? Something I’m really keen on is how everything is linked together artistically. Colors, shapes, temperature, even sounds and scents, a wild environment just makes sense, it’s not there for to please you, because its “handy” or because A+B=C, no, it’s just there, you’re allow to pass through it and that’s it.
For curious people, entire trip made with a Canon 5D II + 17-40L + 70-200 f/4 IS, best quality/weight ratio, which is the most important in the Alps :) .

Coup de coeur pour la photo n8 et un grand bravo pour les photos du bouquetin. Et oui pour courir après un bouquetin en montagne, il faut avoir la santé et une grande motivation.
Je trouve que toute la série est particulièrement belle. Hate d’y retourner.

On se répète : belles, belles photos. Je ne veux pas donner dans l’évidence (enfin pas trop), mais pas loin, il y a La Dombe. Superbe, unique. Et plus loin, la Dordogne (WE). Et plein d’endroits évidemment. A tout bientôt bises MC

…here it is, #7 – to me, it just screams geology!!! With that jagged sharp foreground, and the exposed strata in the ridge beyond, you can almost feel the earth move. Cool place, the Alps.

    All this is day hiking?

How things? Looks like the trip to the Whites isn’t happening for me, this year at least.
